Why do liberals say no one is trying to take your guns?

Well, because they lie. Duh

It's just a talking point. Pay attention to their actions....a lot of them wnt a disarmed populace.

"If you like your plan, you can keep your plan."

"If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor."

Because if they come out and say gun confiscation they'll lose all the fence sitters and itll be over with. If they can fool people long enough they can chip away at it. Make no mistake, their ultimate goal is confiscation. They can't advance their agenda with an armed populace.

They are enemies of the republic.

John Paul Stevens has openly come out and advocated for the repeal of the Second Amendment and banning all semiautomatic weapons.

I dont listen to the NRA and its obvious on the Dem agenda with guns.

They are the same Liberals who said Obamacare wouldn't change anything. If you have healthcare already, you get to keep it and your Dr. too.

They are liars, it's what they do best.

From a progressive mindset, you can't take them until you know who owns them. Once you know who owns them, then you can start with the restrictions. Thus the term progressive. Background checks are the beginning, from there they can move out .....next look for expanding it to requiring mental health workers to start evaluating people and putting it into a database....your doctor becomes a rat - by law. Then from there , it's almost too easy....registration mandated on the states via budget bills sort of like how they did the drinking age.....want money for health care, etc....get people in your state to register their firearms when they buy.....oh and hat database has to be shared nationwide.

That's how they'll try to do it.
