I believe its owned by a Taiwanese person, but to operate in China they made a deal with the devil. The CCP reportedly collects data and uses it for subversive purposes.

Apparently TikTok isn’t censoring criticism of Israel hard or fast enough. Now it makes sense why gay Republicans Cotton and Hawley would be mad at it.

Tiktok is so bad and horrible that youtube and Facebook are trying to copy it with their shorts but the government isn't trying to ban them. Sounds more like meta has bought political influence just like western businesses that struggle to compete with Huawei and Chinese cars have tried to block them from our marketplace under the guise of moral reasons

True. You can also look into Tiananmen Square and other anti-CCP things on the app. Seems fair
