So then you have no problem with Trump wanting to be pals with Putin since war is off the table? Me either. If you don't want someone to be your enemy, then make them your friend if at all possible.

Maybe because Clinton supported war in the Balkans, the war in Kosovo, the War on Terror, the Second Iraq War, war against Libya and war against Assad. Your candidate is a psychotic neoconservative warmonger who has zero foresight when it comes to a peaceful foreign policy. The Russians are actually at war with Islamic radicals in Chechnya and Dagestan and they know that a Clinton presidency will only heighten American meddling in the Caucasus and other regions, which in turn will result in more conflicts for the Russians. They have every right to be just as terrified of a Clinton presidency as us.
