There was already a presumptive list for burn pit exposure that could have simply been expanded, without giving a huge pile of money to a bunch of bureaucrats to waste on themselves.

Toomey's and Cruz's objections didn't come across as credible, even when unfiltered and directly from them.
BTW, the fist bump on the Senate floor was really dumb and awful optics. The entire episode turned into an unnecessary shite show in advance of the midterms.
