It's not too late. Exchanges are open. Trump could advertise on the missiles.

I suspect Tulsi and Bongino are at wit's end and torn between (1) resigning out of a sense of integrity or (2) enjoying the trappings and rush of their high-profile jobs.

I'd suggest an exit strategy to salvage themselves and not be destroyed by the wolves.

Particularly Tulsi. She was a Dem Socialist, I imagine she still supports some of that ideology and fits in better elsewhere.

IvoryBill and I have been ripping Trump for that. I think there is some 8D chess justification that the Honduran guy will now assist in the fight against narco terror.

War crimes are a bad thing.

Executing survivors of a shipwreck is particularly bad.

"Heinz-Wilhelm Eck, a German U-boat commander during World War II, was executed for ordering the killing of survivors from the Greek merchantman SS Peleus, which his submarine U-852 had sunk.
Born in Hamburg on 27 March 1916, Eck served with the Kriegsmarine from 1934 and became a Kapitänleutnant in 1941, assuming command of U-852 in June 1943.
On 13 March 1944, while en route to the Indian Ocean, Eck sank the Peleus with two torpedoes, and later ordered his crew to machine-gun and grenade the survivors clinging to wreckage, fearing the debris could reveal his submarine’s position to Allied forces.
He and two of his officers were tried at the Hamburg war trials, found guilty of war crimes, and executed by firing squad on 30 November 1945."

We would hear nothing if this was being done under Biden. Heck, they might even praise him.

100% they would praise him. Obama brought down el Chapo and other cartels. He went HAM on weed too. Remember the tunnels into San Diego and all of the NorCal weed raids? They said nothing.

I watched the White House briefing today for this issue. Leavitt didn't deny the execution of survivors, she just said whatever our Navy boys did was legal.

So, her non-denial is what leads me to believe the reporting from multiple outlets is true. Always willing to read more....

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed on Monday that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth authorized the second, follow-up strike on an alleged drug boat in the Caribbean in September following a bombshell Washington Post report that claimed he ordered the military to “kill everybody.”

Leavitt told reporters at the White House press briefing that Hegseth authorized Adm. Frank Bradley to carry out the second strike, which reportedly killed two people who were hanging onto the burning vessel after an initial strike.

She never states what the author of that article alleges. Did you read it?

quote:

President Trump and Secretary Hegseth have made it clear that presidentially designated narco-terrorist groups are subject to lethal targeting in accordance with the laws of war. With respect to the strikes in question on September 2, Secretary Hegseth authorized Adm. Bradley to conduct these kinetic strikes,”

From this quite the author states Hegseth said “kill everybody” and killed two people hanging onto the boat. That is completely made up. You’re such a gullible rube. How many times will you fall for fake news?

Thanks, Decatur. It's helpful when we can at least operate from the same set of facts.

The editorialized article is far from facts. read her actual quote…not what the “author” decided she meant.
