By your definition, they were not conservative.
That's not how a conservative is defined.
Protecting the individual liberties of the American citizens is the purpose of government.
As such - I'm pro military. I'm former military myself. I'm also in favor of a strong navy to defend our trade routes, which are generally vital.
But to pretend like that's the same as pre-emptive strikes against foreign countries to enforce the petro dollar in support of the banking cartel that seized our country economically in 1913 is quite a different thing.
Tariffs should be about the only tax we have. However, it IS A TAX. And if you just add tariffs on existing taxes, then all you've done is add more taxes. There is a huge difference between being one of the only taxes to being an additional tax.
And fighting with party and members doesn't mean shite here, I'm guessing you were desperate to hit a 3rd point.

DeBoar and SDV straight up admit that Trump isn't conservative, but then they seemingly trash the rest of the world as not conservative. I don't really even understand what MAGA is anymore other than Trump worship.
