Next time I see him, I'll be sure to tell him he should have just graduated high school as a kid. Excellent advice.
Yes it is, maybe his children won't repeat the cycle! I came from a lower middle class family, played 3 sports, worked part time at the local grocery store and helped on several farms when I could/was needed. Actually going to school was the least time consuming aspect I had...
Like this guy is doing now going to school and working and probably on every government program he is allowed to be on. You need to quit excusing people and having sympathy for people with their awful decision making. This is why people are fed up. Unless the dudes parents died or he was diagnosed with cancer, I'm quite sure his decision making is the reason he is where he is.

Yeah easier to deal with difficult patients if you know at some point in their life they actually contributed at least.

They ask me if my issue was still life threatening. I told them the issue was repaired. I also sent them a letter from my 2 doctors(one local and one in Alabama)saying I was currently unable to work due to the procedure I had done(obviously they cut into my neck).
They told me since it was no longer life threatening and since I’d eventually be able to return to work, I didn’t qualify.
I didn’t feel like dealing with them, so I just did what I could with my savings. I was majorly pissed that I apparently didn’t qualify for something when I actually needed it even though I’d been paying into the system forever.

In order to pay for tax cuts, millions of undocumented and able bodied people will lose Medicaid and at least one million similarly situated people will lose SNAP eligibility.
Fixed it for you, you’re welcome.

You obviously don’t know what happened when Georgia and Arkansas implemented these requirements. Hint: lots of eligible people (eligible under the new rules) lost their benefits.
If MAGA wants Medicaid to disappear then grow a pair and write legislation that explicitly defunds and dismantles it instead of this cowardly garbage.

Idiot. You forgot all seniors died from the tax cuts in Trumps first term!

Some people are gaming the system and receiving medicaid illegally.
There are able-bodied men not of retirement age that are getting medicaid.
There are people who have signed up fraudulently that are getting medicaid.
The requirements for those that are qualified is that they now re-apply every 6 months to ensure they have not become ineligible (i.e. they have become able bodied where before they might have become injured).
So mainly its to stamp out fraud.
Saying it without context makes it sound bad: "Americans will be kicked off medicaid!!!"
It is true, but the context matters in this case.
Those lazy fricks need to go get a job.

Did these eligible people enroll in the new programs?
Hint, many did not.
