The claim for wanting Trump as the GOP is nothing more than a blustering feint to make Leftist mob feel better. The real move is deceitful things like urging Dems to cross the aisle for the GOP primary and vote against Trump.

Isn't Nikki essentially a Dem?
ETA - but yeah, like I said, the outlook for November has changed dramatically the last few months. I've always argued that November was Trump's to lose, and it's becoming more and more clear that's the case. In fact, if Biden continues to press the issue at the border, it could be a landslide.

If they were so afraid of Trump 10 months ago, why did Dems indict Trump when they knew it would help him in the Republican primary?

Because they fear Trump and always have. IF I beat someone fair and square at a game (golf, pool, bowling, poker ...). Not only did I beat them, I CRUSHED the life out of them. I'd welcome the opportunity to do it again. Now if I got lucky or cheated, I'd do ANYTHING to prevent them from playing again.

You're talking about getting to the game. Trump got hosed by the selection committee in 2020.
In the actual game that was Trump's first term, the establishment flourished.

Because it’s two different things. The Biden team wants Trump because they think Biden can beat him, and more importantly, don’t think he can beat anyone else. Your average Dem voter on the other hand is terrified of Trump coming back. Then by the time you get to the far left there are plenty of people who don’t want to vote for Biden because they want a more radical candidate, and so they can punish Biden by not voting for him if the candidate is a “normal” GOP candidate, but will probably have to vote for Biden if Trump is the alternative.
Basically the Biden administration is trying to force their voters to come out for him, and his voters really don’t want to do that. Once you accept that as a starting point the actions of all involved make sense

Meh. Most Ron supporters are okay and will back Trump. It's the Nikki supporters who are are either ignorant or against us.
