The International Left organized around Anti-Americanism 100 years ago. The opposite of Collectivism/Marxism/Socialism/Communism is American-style Individual Liberty, or Constitutionalism.
For decades, Democrats carved out a kind of pro-American position that split the difference that called itself "liberalism". It was broadly pro-American, defended Constitutional principles like Free Speech and the right to bear arms, while accepting and promoting some more collectivist social positions. Now, in 2019, and really since the election of Barack Obama, the Democratic party has abandoned what we called liberalism and affiliated itself with the HARD INTERNATIONAL LEFT. They thoroughly REJECT American Constitutionalism, believe that America is a source of evil in the world and seek to replace every meaningful American tradition, principle, ideal and Institution with Marxist style collectivism, mob rule, post-Constitutional lawlessness, deep state chicanery, etc.
To vote for a Democrat in 2019 is an implicit rejection of America. It is an act of hostility against one's own country.
