We live in a constitutional Republic, not a pure democracy. A true democracy would be mob rule. Whatever the majority says. That's not what we have, we have a Republic of LAWS. The Democrats are idiots, through and through without hardly an exception. They seek power just like the useless Republicans. Both parties have sold us out to lobbyist and foreign governments and ONE DAY we will have to take it back from ALL the politicians by force. Of the two parties however, the Democrats are surely more anti American in every aspect. The Republicans join the Democrats in corruption.

a consitutional Republic isn't a pure republic. So saying we don't live in a democracy we live in a republic is equally as incorrect. We have the best of both. Republics are the tits and democracies are the arse... We have nice tits and a nice arse. We are a model Nation. Albeit with some flaws (miniature freckle/mole that in the right place is attractive).
Stop with the stupid grandstanding about a Constitutional Republic aka representative democracy. Democracy is incredibly important aspect in our style of government as are many other things like checks and balances.
