We finally have someone who is at least willing to try and drain the swamp.

Trump is part of the swamp. His businesses are making money due to him being president. He is going to leave office with more wealth then he entered. Because of name recognition alone.

Another possibility - if a Congress critter's investments overperforming the market, they get taxed 100% on the excess amount. So they can insider trade all they want but the benefits go to the taxpayers.

Being president has helped this. You cant deny that. It's a simple fact that the leader of the free world is one of the most recognizable names in the world regardless of who it is.
