I know some black folks who react to these shootings the way you describe, but I know others who don't. Black people who take these shootings to heart are more likely to be interviewed on news channels than those who don't. I know black men in real life who'd put this whole narrative to bed with the quickness if CNN would dare put a microphone in front of them.

Yeah, but if a black man speaks the truth he is quickly silenced as a sell out to his race!

This is true. I work with several well educated black coworkers that truly have bought into this hype. There is no rational conversation around the topic for them. None.

Do you determine if the conversation is rational or not?

Shelby Steele: Blacks in America are the only people he can think of who routinely put the lowest common denominator of their group on pedestals. He’s not wrong. I don’t see white people lamenting when white trash gets killed. I don’t see Hispanic or Latino people do it. Asians? Haha yeah right. Only blacks will rally around the biggest piece of shite postmortem and elevate said piece of shite into near saintly status.

This is the most perplexing question for sure - when our white trash gets shot for being a dumb arse we don’t riot - we realize they played stupid games and won stupid prizes.

The black community prop up criminals and tear down successful blacks

It’s really sad to see

I really would like our resident "Wokeists" to chime in. Maybe they can enlighten us.

It's like a pilgrimage to Mecca. It is compulsory for the believers. And there are BILLIONS of dollars spent by the Race Grievance Industry telling them to emote on demand or lose their racial identity. And let's face it, it's a helluva lot easier to emote than think. Thinking is difficult.

Better to be a thug and/or a dead-beat dad than to try and be “white.”

every single black person I know thinks the cops treat them differently. Whether its true or not, that is the way they feel about it.

That probably is true. When 2% of the 12% black population is committing 50%+ of the nationwide crimes, then cops have a valid reason for treating them differently. My opinion is that if blacks want to address this different treatment, they are going to HAVE to address and do something positive concerning this crime rate. Blacks kill other blacks by the dozens every weekend in our major cities, yet blacks do not protest and loot over this. Their anger is not genuine, imho.

I agree with you, but there are some 70+(up to high 90 yr olds) that lived through some hard biases.

Most below 50 today, I think are candyasses..and have no clue what their grandparents and prior truly went through.

And to your other points, isn't it sad that what made America great in it's origins, is now being manipulated by Socialism/Marxism/Alinskyism to it's eventual demise. Yuri Bezmenov and Syd Herlong and Bishop Fulton Sheen,etc..all warned us.

Well, the argument here is it is all caused by systemic racism.

This should have galvanized all white people but didn't. I do not have a creative enough mind to come up with the level of horrific torture that should happen to the piece of shite who killed that kid.

Deep seated psychological Inferiority Complex most likely; the Ego is very apt to get riled up if it's damaged. The legacy of being enslaved by a 'superior' group weighs heavy; especially be aggravated by Marxist strategy.

And there is also the chemical side; I read the other day that Dopamine is excreted when humans believe they are an aggrieved individual or class that is standing up for their own or the common virtue of Justice. Whites are no different.

I pivot between believing that Ignorance is more destructive than Evil; sometimes they seem one and the same.

Yeah, and you know what? The entire Southern people lived through reconstruction where after giving up hundreds of thousands of men in a battle for survival against an onslaught of foreign immigrants who became their political superiors in the aftermath. Southern Whites were persecuted, robbed of what little they had, and politically excluded until they agreed to provide a huge chunk of their remaining military aged males to fight two world wars for the emerging American Empire. Even then, the culture merchants in this rotten country belittle, ridicule, and marginalize them with zero repercussion.

If anyone in this country has given more while being oppressed to this degree, I've yet to see evidence of it.

So I understand the point you are trying to make, but I don't support that narrative. At all.

Well, it does. During their (it must be admitted) very arduous journey as a people - from their enslavement on the Continent (at the hands of folks of all races, creeds or colors), the middle passage, the American chattel slavery experience (largely in the rugged, unforgiving South working in agriculture and dangerous resource extraction work), Reconstruction, Jim Crow and, ultimately, the 1950s/60s civil rights Struggle(tm), they developed a number of survival skills and instincts.

One of the main ones was to stick together at all costs. Another one was to instinctively distrust the motivation and intention of white people, however outwardly benign or well-meaning these white folks might appear. In addition, they inherently mistrust white people when there is a bad outcome for black folks. (Now, this is all well and good, but does not necessarily explain their blind loyalty to white democrats after 60+ years of utter failure.)

Tribalism is baked into all of our DNA as it is. IN particular, sticking together served them well for the longest time, although it is not serving them well at all, currently.

It is what it is.
