Y’all act like this proves that he’s the chosen one.

It’s a misdemeanor.

This board loves being harsh on misdemeanors. e.g. they advocate shooting poor people dead at the border.

Maybe not but I guarantee it will be insinuated by his supporters

In an environment where the tide is trending toward condemnation of these acts, and not just this but it’s also the cumulative effect of previous questionable or outright egregious acts similar in nature and scope. Folks who previously wouldn’t have are now likely thinking to themselves, “that Mar A Logo thing seems shady now too” and same potentially for other prior matters as well. To indicate any level of condemnation of Trump would likely be paramount to aligning with the ones perpetrating it themselves.

Well the cia did train him so there are some similarities

Was Trump married when he messed with Stormy? Just wondering. That’s not something a lot of Christians can go for without being hypocrites

There’s a difference between President Trump (where the quoted statement may ring true) and Candidate Trump (where Rubio, Cruz, etc. voters were perfectly within reason to hold Trump accountable during primary season). He’s Candidate Trump again. There is a viable alternative. It can’t be Trump against the world when there’s a chunk of people ready to move on. Sometimes shady is just too shady for some.

Not within the jurisdiction of the Manhattan DA

whatever misdemeanor is charged includes the potential that the jury chooses to affirm aspects of the case are some reason to up the penalty to felony. I've heard that more than once.

Not how it works. A jury doesn’t get to increase the level of charge alleged

Yep. And you not being appalled at the weaponization of government against political opponents says a lot about you.

Celtic, I think thats the charge they couldnt get to stick before so now they are trying.......

Trump paid the girls so by them being quiet his campaign benefitted therefore it was an illegal campaign contribution.

I believe thats why suddenly the 51 individuals who wrote the letter saying hunters laptop was russian....are now recanting. Otherwise they too could be charged, and in their instance they should have been, Trumps "violations" are nonsense.

This isn’t aimed at the politically sophisticated. It’s aimed at the low info voter thst will hear one snippet or their friends saying something and only hear “OMG Trump go arrested!” and thsts about all they will know.

Not unlike how so many “heard” about some huge democrat bank owners being “bailed out” in silicon valley.

Low information voters and single source information voters will be impacted by this on the left and the right. Just more polarization around Trump. It'll help in the primary, opposite in the general.

Just this morning CBS news had a statement from the office of the Manhattan D.A., something to the effect that "any threats against this office will be fully investigated."

For awhile the hate mail and threats must have been going through the roof for that nest of vipers up there in that slouching city to believe it necessary to issue such a public warning.
