well if it makes you feel better, they hate catholics just as much. protestants by nature are hateful and fearful people. small minded and petty. bumpkins suggins and white trash, my grandmother always called them
when you have no canon law you just make schit up as you go along.
they'll get what they paid for in eternal damnation!

Whether or not one agrees with the them being the "chosen people," I find it interesting how people who are currently against 20m people nationwide, are siding with billion+ that are wanting to destroy them even more.
Let's correct our relationship with Israel, but let's not go down a worse path.

History shows that you got to hate someone, so why not them?

Or again, do you believe the rest of that chapter where it says to destroy everything - which would include Christians?
There were no Christians at that time.
You are absolutely clueless.

No man, like made up all the stories and converted people to Christians man for money. Would explain why the Torah and bible are so similar and pro Jew.
Religion is very profitable and tax free.

Yes, national blessings under the Mosaic covenant were conditional. Israel's disobedience brought judgment, exile, and eventually the destruction of the nation. That did not and does not mean that God was simply finished with Israel. Whether that translates into a divine guarantee for the modern State of Israel is a different question entirely.
By the way, if you continue reading Deuteronomy, it predicts Israel's disobedience, exile, and later restoration (Deut. 30: 1-5). So even within that scripture your position doesn't hold.

Have you actually read the Bible? A huge part of the New Testament is about the conflict created because many Jewish leaders and others did not believe Jesus was the promised Messiah. That's a pretty strange way to invent a religion designed to flatter Jews or keep Christians in check.

Israel is currently committing genocide so they can expand their territory.
Demonstrably false. First of all, calling defending yourself in a war that the other side deliberately started is stupid AND pussy. Second of all, you realize that Israel voluntarily displaced its own citizens from the very area in question in 2005, right? In the interest of a peaceful "two-state" solution. If they wanted to "commit genocide to expand their territory" they never would have agreed to that.
And that's the thing about the whole conflict. Israel's not perfect, but it's very clear to anyone but a dumb biased crank who the worse player in this game is. Israel and "Palestine" have been offered 19 solutions for their conflict. Israel has accepted or at least been willing to come to the table for the majority of those solutions. "Palestine" has rejected all 19.
Yeah, they are 0-19.
And you can blah, blah, blah about propaganda all you want. That's not true because they said it was, it's just fricking true.
I'm not arguing any of this from the perspective of the Bible. It's just very obvious who the worse problem of the two is.

Those are rookie numbers. How much do you think we spend? Google says between $2.5 and $3 Billion.
What does that prove? That Abraham Lincoln didn't really free the slaves?

Except Israel and the people still have not met those conditions.

Deuteronomy 7:6: God tells the Israelites, "The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession"
The Bible says a lot of things, many of them contradictory, even within the same book due to multiple layers of text written by multiple authors and edited by others. In Deuteronomy 32:8-9, El Elyon the king of the gods of the Canaanite pantheon divide up the nations and assign a son to rule over each nation. Yahweh gets Jacob which is the lot of the inherited property he receives from his father El.

Paul makes the same point in Romans 11. Israel is presently in unbelief, but he calls it a "partial hardening" and explicitly says God has not rejected His people.
So the fact that the conditions haven't been fully met doesn't mean the promise ceased to exist.

What a bizarre shift lately from the poli board, so what has driven this event amongst goyem? Your own bible tells you that they are the chosen people and you now revolt?
Seriously though, it seems like a trend and curious why.
The woke right podcast brosphere that reaches more listeners, viewers, and subsribers than traditional media does anymore, has a hard-on for hating the Jews these days. Lot of outside money from places like Qatar (where Hamas leadership all fled to when Israel began it's response to October 7th), is funding it too.

Doesn't that require them becoming Christians?
Currently they believe Jesus is in hell in a vat of piss and shite and that Christians worship a false idol.
So if they haven't met the conditions according to God, then who is behind Israel?

I think you're jumping from a theological question to a political one. Romans 11 says God has not rejected Israel. It doesn't say the modern Israeli government is divinely directed or that Christians have to support everything it does. I don't view the modern State of Israel as some government that gets a religious exemption from judgment. It's a government and a U.S. ally, and its actions can be judged on their merits just like those of any other government.
So "who is behind Israel?" doesn't really follow from what I've been arguing. I'm talking about what Scripture says about God's covenant promises, not claiming Netanyahu or the Israeli government speaks for God. And I don't think Christianity teaches that Jewish people are entitled to special political rights or benefits simply because they are Jewish. Jew and Gentile stand on the same ground before God through Christ.
I do agree with you that there are Christians who, mistakenly in my opinion, support Israel largely because of its role in the Old Testament. I think they're conflating a theological claim with a political obligation. How much influence that actually has on U.S. policy, I don't really know.

Israel existed and fell before Jesus. Isn't the reason the Jewish people rejected Jesus is because he didn't become the political king and build Israel?
And I think God would say they rejected him, and I'm not talking about Jesus there.
So in what way is this nation the same as the one in the Torah and in what way have they fulfilled the requirements given before such a nation would exist again?
And if a nation is named Israel, and it has not met the conditions, then in what way is it of God? It must exist by some other force? Like maybe the ruler of this world.
Israel kidnapped American children so they could be raped by rich and powerful men to blackmail them as part of a larger scheme to gain political influence. They spy and steal from us as much as possible, they are committing genocide for extremist goals.
They even pay money to get people to manipulate the bible to fit their agenda. To trick Christians into thinking it's their duty to support them.
I don't see how they are an ally unless you have interests in controlling the middle east to enforce the petro dollar. Of which has been a huge drain on America costing us more than any possible benefits via loss of resources and currency devaluations, not to mention the lack of morals in the amount of people killed.

quote:Many were confused because their idea of what the Messiah was supposed to do then was not the same as what Jesus came to do. Jesus' disciples were often confused because they had preconceived notions. You are painting with a broad brush because all Jews did not reject Jesus. The ones who rejected him upon his revealing rejected him specifically because he revealed himself. They believed it could not be true, they didn't accept his claims of authority, he publicly challenged interpretation of some of the Laws of the Sabbath, or, etc. Clearly those who rejected Jesus are not accepting of God's plan and new covenant.

I think I've argued multiple times that the government of Israel is not the same as the Jewish people in the Bible. In other words, I've been agreeing with you on that point. I'm not sure why you think I'm disagreeing with you. I offer Israel no quarter if they are performing bad acts. I do not believe they should get any religious-based special treatment.
I can tell you're really upset at the Israeli government. If they are doing the evil things that you say they are doing, then I would hang every rich U.S. politician raping children and kick Israel in the balls politically. If you've got evidence, let's shine some light on it. Am I bothered that they are using propaganda to gain support? No, most governments might do something like that -- and it's not inherently evil.
I call Israel an ally because they are formally designated as a "Major Non-NATO Ally". It's a political distinction, but we have extensive military, intelligence, missile-defense, research, and economic ties. Whether or not the relationship is a good bargain for the U.S. is a policy judgment.
You seem to keep arguing against a Christian-Zionist position that I'm not taking.
