I'll give everyone a hint.....in the final analysis it's not China.
The US government working with US corporations and their corporate Swamp lobbyists sowed all the seeds for this trade debacle that Trump is dealing with today. There's no need to get in the weeds trying to justify the foolishness that's taken place over the past 40 years with regards to US investment and development of the Chinese economy. Trump had a trade mess thrown in his lap that's been stewing for decades. This trade conundrum was created quite simply by shortsighted trade policies, built on greed and short term US corporate profits. Now that the Chinese have the infrastructure, manufacturing/industrial technologies and the skilled workers for a viable economy they're not as easily controlled by US demands for "free/fair trade".
China wants to be the equal of the US in global influence and we've assisted them immeasurably to attain their goals, so I ask you who is to blame?

It's the globalists looking for the cheapest labor at the expense of our workforce. Many US corporations are guilty of supporting this because they can make more profits that way.

China has been hip deep with the DNC for years.
Anyone remember Johnny Chung?
Everything the dems are raising hell about regarding Trump and Russia are what the've been doing with China,
except that the dems ACTUALLY did it.

The Dims PT Dims would blame Nixon but Clinton was the one who opened the floodgates for the transfer of high tech manufacturing and industrial technologies to China, if I recall there was some fairly advanced targeting and acquisition technology for missilery that was obtained by the Chinese from the US during the Clinton years.

Michael Eisner and his corporate ilk let free in the early 80's by Ronnie so fewer corporations could make more money.
Sam Walton and the Walton family is classic example of the transformation...
Mr Sam
Walmart colors were Red, White, and Blue
Wal Mart bought US goods to stock the shelves of Wall Mart
Was hands on and went the the stores and knew his customers
Mr Sam's kids
Walmart colors are yellow and light blue (no USA blue)
Wal Mart buys Chinese good to stock the shelves of Wall Mart
Sam's kids probably haver not been inside a Wal Mart since they were kids
FWIW, the Republicans blaming the Democrats and the Democrats blaming the Republicans is just a smoke screen for them bot to empower fewer and fewer US citizens at the expense of corporate greed. The USA will only take back power if they hold both sides to blame and demand real change.

While true... is this not also a reflection of the consumer? Demanding goods at a lower price and all that.

I remember my Grandparents losing their shite and going on and on about Clinton selling us out to China and pretty much predicting the current state of affairs when I was a wee lad. It still amazes me how the dims are able to skate on virtually everything according to the liberal media, while if a republican were to do any number of things, they would be crucified. I mean, it's G-Damn TREASON!

Definitely Hillary’s fault if not Obama’s

Nah. It was bill that gave China our military secrets. Funny how your snide remark works out knowing that fact, huh?

Just stating facts. Facts you were clearly ignorant of. Typical low-education liberal.

Trade makes up a small % of China's economy.
