That is such a fundamental misreading of what Free Speech is I don’t even know where to start. First you do not have the right to not be offended by my speech. Second , violence is not a protected response to Free Speech. It’s a crime. Speech is not a crime. Jesus, man it’s fricking simple.

Normally I would agree with you. But protesting and trying to disturb a funeral is the line in the sand for me. Even if they may disagree with what that person who has died may have done. That person is dead, not damn thing you can do at that point. What are doing is disturbing and pissing on that persons grave figuratively toward that person's family and loved ones. Free speech may give them the right to do that, but that doesn't mean they don't need the shite beat out of them for doing it.

People are emotional. If you say or do things that agitate a mob, they might react physically. It's illegal to physically assault a person, but it happens.
In Andy Ngo's position, I'd be looking at video and still shots with the police to press charges against the people responsible.
