The real danger in appointing more Roman Catholics is if Frankie declares a universal right to emigrate, goes through with putting disagreeing with global warming being a sin in the catechism, etc.
We can't have people making US law with loyalty to such an anti-American church leader. Not much better than Obama's preacher.

Why Catholic? What OS your reasoning. The majority is already Catholic and the only other faith on the court is Jewish.

Catholics have been a majority in the SC for decades upon decades, and have never shown any allegiance to Rome. Your point is based solely on paranoia with no basis in facts.

This fake news narrative has been pushed for generations, especially when JFK ran for president. The idea of American Catholics having more loyalty to the Pope than our own country is bullshite. We look to the Pope on matters of Church law and canon, not secular policies.
