the list of bad presidents is about 40+ deep, so it is a competitive list. Abraham Lincoln takes the cake,
I have to take exception - the USA as we have known and loved it would not exist if not for Lincoln.
Whatever his tactics at the time, what he achieved was momentous for the advance of western civilization - I have to give him credit for sublime prescience for that rather than berate him for tactics.
I have always put him and George Washington as top two with a huge gap before 3rd.

Grant. He won the big one.
To be fair, civil war success aside, I think most would agree he was a poor president.

Lincoln was the beginning of American decline. Everything special about the nation was destroyed by Lincoln and it will never recover. Ever. Worst president...by far.

Meh, the Indian removal act was probably more human than the alternative. Not his finest hour, however.
But I do like how we have people who think Lincoln was "sublime", but Jackson booting out some savages is unforgivable. It's just insane.

His reviews are mixed at best but only because my Uncle was also from Missouri and was good friends with him, I am going with Harry Truman.

I’m laughing because most of the people posting are so called conservatives, which tells me by their picks they have no knowledge of what happened during their picks administrations. Or they aren’t really conservative. One or the other. Can’t be any other way.
Yeah Teddy Roosevelt? Wtf?
The great regulator?
