The FedGov will step in and pay the bill. If they give the city the money directly I almost guarantee it will be squandered and the problem will persist. They should find someone in the private sector to oversee the project. The grifters in Hinds CO are salivating at the thought of a billion investment

If the private sector is allowed to oversee the project it won’t cost nearly one billion dollars. The May Uh’s one billion dollar estimate includes 500 million in graft.

Also, he claims the city needs an entirely new system; which is not true.

I don’t feel sorry for anyone in Hinds CO. They voted for corruption and incompetence over and over. That drove out the tax base.

I used to live in Hinds County, and I never voted for these idiots. Your comment is ignorant.

Who is going to pay New Hanover and possibly Pender County NC-- 3 billion to fix the tap water?

Duke Energy dumped ash ----with cancers and a young lady I know--(reporting her baby in the womb was born with kidney cancer when the mama lived at the port)

Studies now showing tap water=cancer. Just like Camp Lejeune, it will be years before anyone fesses up.

Duke contributed to the black jesus, a dem Gov moved in--(not like the R gave two craps either) And it all went away maybe they cleaned it up, maybe they didn't?

But hey we will have worthless windmills that will break off in storms in the ocean and take off Sam the fisherman's and eagles heads.

The plant operator that’s still on site (city of Jackson employee) says it happens with that cylinder often and he normally fixesit himself.

That onion is beginning to peel apart at breakneck speed.

Someone tell this “plant operator” that duct tape, epoxy, and zip ties are not fixes in a cylinder that contains chlorine gas.

And if you have to “fix” the same thing “often”. Ummm.. you didn’t “fix” anything. You patched it.

Of course. The neighboring counties’ water works and Jackson’s doesn’t. This only equals white supremacy.

He was supposed to have gone to Miami this past weekend to speak at a conference on city infrastructure. Imagine that.
That's like inviting Hunter to speak at a Campus Crusade for Christ convention.

Seriously???? The city with continuous water emergencies, a sewer system that’s sketchy at best, washboard and pothole filled city streets, and a trash pickup that was almost suspended city wide, was invited to speak on city infrastructure??

What was the secondary subject? How to destroy it with incompetence and be Teflon to any blame outside the city?

Why is his hair photoshopped?

Is that a native Mississipi name? Seems a bit odd.
