Our church hosted a training class, I bet half the men or more carry and at least a few women.

A carry weapon has to be comfortable or you will leave it behind when you need to wear it.

Church security team has a minimum of 4 LEO's, plus 8 armed church personnel wearing vests, per service on Sunday. Numerous CCL members also carry.

That’s a really nice pistol for CC, I have an H&K CC9, they are very similar.

If you’re in Louisiana you need permission from the church leadership to carry. My BIL does but I don’t.

The point of concealed carry is not to let anyone know you're packing. Don't announce it.
These "gun free zones" are an open invitation to bad actors.
I don't understand the open carry argument. You make yourself a target. Element of surprise is much more effective.

I’m assuming the Catholic Church I attend has armed ushers to go with the police officer they usually have on site. Priest is a former lawyer and serious about handling business.

I did when I attended a smaller church. Now, I attend a church that is guarded like Fort Knox, so I just leave my gun in the car.

You won't need that permission if you are able to neutralize a threat.

I'm on the security team, so I do along with many others. Every Sunday.

How about for first interaction with a threat while the good folk are worshipping.
