Haven't been able to keep up with the candidates...
Who's who and what do they stand for???

All of the majors are shite. Bagnares(sp) seems to be the best at pretending to be honest and impartial so I'm going with him.
Highly considering a skurlock throw away vote.

There hasnt been a non-Democratic mayor in New Orleans for a hundred and fifty years
And you can tell how well run the city is because of it
Good luck

Write in yourself and be done with it. You'll lose regardless.

Has nothing to do with party affiliation, has more to do with the demographics of the city and who has been running it since the 70s
Almost all of the major cities in America are ran by Dems, and almost all are better run than New Orleans

Bagneris would be my vote, if I lived in the City.

And a Republican wouldn't do any better. That entire city can't get shite right outside of tourism and providing a good time for visiting folks.

100% Bagneris.
He’s a good man and smart. Extremely well educated.
Meaning he won’t win. But that’s who I’m voting for.

The city has been failing at that lately. A tourist prob got shot as I typed out this post.

The top 3 candidates are really all that matter, so:
LaToya and Charbonnet are pretty much the same thing. They stand for grandstanding divisive politics, welfare state, the continued cycle of democratic-led destruction of major cities, and an extension of what Mitch already started. They'll flap their gums alot without ever doing anything and the city will continue to cycle downward. I don't know which is actually worse, but LaToya has had more public chances to prove her hypocritical incompetence in city council meetings.
Also, Cantrell's husband is the idiot who dropped a joint in the courtroom ( Joint Story ) and her father-in-law is the current subject of a federal class action lawsuit alleging violation of civil rights and abuse of office ( Article re:class action ). You know the expression you lay with a dog you get fleas?
Bagneris is backed by two basic machines: 1. Is Dutch Morial's friends and political patrons. The other is a large middle and upperclass business community both corporate and small businesses. He'll probably get my vote. He seems like a good guy. I've met him a couple times. He'll have some favors to repay if elected, no doubt, but he'll be the best for business in my opinion.
Alot of people like Henry, myself included, but he has an absolute 0% chance to make the runoff. It's pissing your vote away. Or worse, it's a vote in favor of Cantrell or Charbonnet.
The runoff will most likely be between either Charbonnet or Cantrell and Bagneris. I don't think enough people will vote for both Cantrell and Charbonnet to force Bagneris out and only those two in, but it's not outside the realm of possibility.
