The socialism in National Socialism refers to the social contract of the German Volk.

Ukraine wasn't a Nazi ally. 20,000 Ukrainians served in the Waffen SS because of their hatred for Stalin. The Azov battalion is or has been financed by an Oligarch. They are from western Ukraine and are very anti Russian. I would imagine historically that the Azov battalion is a spinoff from the region(s) and the past where some in Ukraine joined the Waffen SS to fight Stalin and their hatred of Russians. The battalion has been around for a good while.
4.5 million Ukrainians served in the Red Army in WWII.

Yes the Nazis were Socialists. Some Nazi leaders were hard left Socialists originally. Goebbels was an example. Hitler called Roland Freisler (of The Peoples Court) "That old Bolshevik". Hitler never liked or trusted Freisler because of his past ties to the Soviet Union. There were others also such as the Drexler brothers. The biggest difference in them and the Russian socialists/communists was the Nazi ideology was based on race/nationalism and the Soviet system was based on class. Hitler hated capitalism and communism because in his view both systems were created and were of Jewish origin.

Antifa origins are communist ideology. They are Marxists. They have been around for a long time. They started in Germany before Hitler took power and were around in the Soviet Union under Stalin.
