quote: How so? By telling black people to suck it up? Getting them in line? What? The President could have honored police. Put lights up at White House in honor of them. Beer Summit - The President instantly hurt his credibility with white voters by saying Harvard police acted stupidly for arresting black professor. Travon Martin - The President could have stayed neutral and spoke more thoughtfully to country on race. Ferguson - Justice Department suppressed video of Brown robbing the store in order to skew perception of shooting. Obama never fussed or pleaded or spent political capital calling out those folks burning down black businesses. Obama could have presented a cop & citizen videos on how to obey or handle cops. The video would remind cops on how to handle citizens. Play this video on major news channels for a month or so? There was so much more he could have done being first black president but he chose to play for his team.
Rakim, not sure what to make of you. You may be an actual, real life moderate. Keep posting as I enjoy your commentary

Aww yes. Unite workers! Rise up against your greedy, deceitful overlords and cross all contrived boundaries. The workers should not fight one another but rather come together against the establishment.
The premise is actually thought provoking and moral, except the leaders of such utopian paradises always live better and more luxurious lives than the common man.

People in the black community we're looking for representation
for false narratives?
do you realize how absurd that comment is when we look back at what we know about those situations now?

As soon as he offered that you alt right dipshits attacked him.
did you just call me a member of the alt right?

"State level"? Please. These are national issues
trayvon martin was not a national issue
mike brown was not a national issue
freddie grey was not a national issue
they were manufactured into these things based off lies and mythology, which sadly, many people still believe to be true

unless you think that only Virginia residents were involved this last weekend.
you can't compare VA to Trayvon/Brown/Grey
quote:
He'll, the statues should have been a damn local issue.
in VA it was a state issue and the Governor of VA vetoed a popular bill to protect statues, leading to the protests

Thank You
I do it because I'm actually pulling for the President and you guys can go through my posts. I praise Trump when they do things the right way. I'm actually supportive of about 75% of the agenda. I just have a hard time watching ameteur hour when I know you only get this type of opportunity House, Senate, WH once every 20-25 years.
I know I can be hostile but that's because I don't like wasting time on side issues that are taking the sails out of the agenda.

Your response to this entire episode has been childish and irrational. Trump's original response was actually perfectly responsible and presidential. Anyone claiming otherwise is blinded by hatred of the man and are the typos of people who wouldn't be happy with anything he said.

Hey Toddy, I will ask you again...why don't you ditch the Col Reb icon by your name? What? You can't sacrifice having the Ole Miss logo? So you're ok with keeping this Confederate symbolism on your profile here?

Right, white supremacists have a rich history of anti-violence.

There are certainly violent people everywhere, but right wing groups historically are much more violent. Much, much more violent.
