The best idea (and easiest) would be to issue an executive order suspending California’s law that moved a crap ton of trucks off the roads for Green reasons.

But, but, but……Facebook says that’s false information!

Dems would have active duty Soldiers and Marines doing their yardwork for free at their homes, babysitting their kids and painting their houses, if they could get away with it.

The amount of crap on order will go down after the holidays. You then have a situation where demand dies down and suppliers are holding a bunch of expensive merchandise that the consumer can not afford to purchase. That’s when the recession kicks in. Thankfully the Dems will have a plan for that. More spending!

If that happens, retail is completely fricked.

From a micro perspective, that is what caused the comic book market to crash circa 1995.

Schedule slip by a few particular companies for high demand comics meant that comics were ordered heavily but didn’t arrive before demand collapsed.

Which in turn caused Valiant Comics, the #3 or 4 label in the business, to get sold and helped destroy a lot of comic stores selling product who suddenly got stuck with a lot of unsalable merchandise. Eventually that caused Marvel to go bankrupt.

This happens for Christmas this year and Walmart or Target may not go bust but I bet a ton of mid level retailers do along with mom and pop businesses who can’t weather a major loss caused by mistimed inventory.

Next up: Nationalizing industries to solve this problem

If you want this problem to exist 24/7/365 then by all means have the government run it.

Just like the old Soviet Union.

Certainly most National Guardsmen (and women) have CDLs and can navigate an over-loaded container port.

I used to drive one of these when I was 20 and in Korea:

My only prerequisite was taking a test on international road signs and a short road test in an LMTV on post. Not even in live South Korean traffic in Seoul. That's it. I never had a CDL license. That's active duty. If a guardsman has a CDL license, most likely due to their civilian job.

They are drunk with power.

All of this and they won't admit what Sundance rightfully pointed out...

That this entire issue is caused by a green new deal Cally law that bans semi trucks from not being 3 years or brand new-green compliant.

Biden & Newsom could stop the madness and cancel this asinine regulation. They won't, because they are in the middle of bringing the working class to their knees in desperation.
