White House Faith Office

Establishment Of The White House Faith Office

Appointees of said office LINK
So, what do y'all think of this?
Personally, I feel "faith" encompasses much more than what I would be comfortable with and could obviously include things and 'faiths' that are antithetical to what the aims of such an office would be.
Also, at least 2/3 of the appointments are female... I'm not personally comfortable with female 'pastors'.

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, and to assist faith-based entities, community organizations, and houses of worship in their efforts to strengthen American families, promote work and self-sufficiency, and protect religious liberty, it is hereby ordered:
Section 1. Policy. Faith-based entities, community organizations, and houses of worship have tremendous ability to serve individuals, families, and communities through means that are different from those of government and with capacity and effectiveness that often exceeds that of government.

Pastor Paula White-Cain will return to the White House as a Special Government Employee and Senior Advisor of the newly created White House Faith Office. In the last 40 years, White-Cain has expanded her influence globally in almost 200 countries, ministering, fighting for religious freedom and humanitarian rights, and advocating for the voiceless. She is the founder and president of Paula White Ministries and National Faith Advisory Board.

Jennifer S. Korn will return to the White House as a Deputy Assistant to the President and Faith Director of the newly created White House Faith Office after serving as Senior Advisor of National Faith Advisory Board, America’s largest faith coalition. Korn previously served President Trump all four years as Deputy Director of the White House Office of Public Liaison and during the 2016 Presidential Election leading Latino, Minority, Faith, Veteran and other coalition engagement for historic gains among these communities.

Jackson Lane will join the White House as Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Faith Engagement after serving as the Deputy Director of Faith Outreach for the Trump-Vance 2024 Campaign.

It’s heresy, and at some point these churches are no longer Christian. The Episcopal Church can’t be considered Christian for example.
White is an especially bad pick though
quote:
She is linked to the prosperity gospel, a belief that faith in God brings material wealth and physical well-being. White has also adopted some Hebrew rituals and observances at her megachurch, like observing a version of Passover, fasting for the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur and wearing a Tallit in an appeal for donations. In Passover messages on Facebook, White said that the “blood of Jesus protects” Christians and compared it to the blood of lambs that shielded the Israelites from the angel of death in Egypt.

It will not affect my worship to God in any way. I worship Him according to the Word, nit according to man.

I did not know that about White. That is awful. Someone needs to better advise Trump on such picks... Christians that I know are not down with Prosperity Gospel, it's gross. Ima go read your link, thanks for the info!

Agree that a twice divorced female pastor is a bad choice:

True... yet hucksters stain the Faith. If Trump is appointing hucksters it looks bad, all around.

I'm definitely going to go read up on her... Osteen is hard to top. I figured she was iffy considering her being female and pastor, much less mega church.

Is there anyone you believe isn't?
Anyway, this is a stupid idea by trump. An office like this is just begging to become a slush fund.

Here is some more about Paula White
from wiki LINK
I find it interesting that her hyphenated last name is not the usual nee last name hyphenated husband last name, but is in fact hyphenated from her 2nd and 3rd husbands' last names. Gross.
quote:
In 2004, Without Walls International Church reported a congregation of 20,000, the largest congregation in the area and the seventh-largest church in the United States.[20] An audit later made public by a United States Senate committee chaired by Iowa Republican Chuck Grassley showed that Without Walls received $150 million from 2004 to 2006.[21] The Senate report found the church White operated with her now ex-husband spent tax-exempt ministry funds one year to pay nearly $900,000 for the couple's waterfront mansion, over a million dollars in salaries to family members and paid for the Whites' private jet. White and her church did not cooperate with the investigation. In 2011, Grassley issued a report outlining his committee's findings but took no additional action.[22]

Dumb. Keep politics out of religion and the arts.
Don't need bigger government.

Unfortunately, though I think Trump may have good intentions, Paula White is a heretic of mass proportions…and she’s not a pastor, she’s not qualified according to the scriptures….anyway, I would have liked to see Pastor Franklin Graham there…he is a solid man of God.

You linked a Jew rag that does nothing but bash her but she is also getting paid by the Jews?
Did a Jew frick your mom/sister/wife/daughter or something?
You can't go one day with crying about them. Like some woke tard lefty crying about racism or the patriarchy.

Without knowing... my guess would be that any man of God would likely not be willing to pollute their faith by getting into the Politics of Faith. It would blur their purpose and dilute the message.

There are usually a few people in congress that won’t accept Israeli money
The Zionist evangelical preachers are bought and paid for though. That’s why they’re Zionists.

Paula White is our problem to deal with.

I am all for the White House Faith Office I am just not a big fan of the "name it and claim" greedy faith preachers such as White. They teach a perversion of the true Gospel message.
