The term and a half only applies as far as I can tell if someone assumes the presidency when they weren't first elected to it. Such as, a VP takes over for a fallen POTUS in year three, he can still run for two more terms. I'm not seeing how it would apply in this case.

Back before the internet and AI, these kinds of stories were published in the supermarket check-out line rags.

The best was the Weekly World News. Batboys, mummies, and lots and lots of aliens.

One time the cover story was about a man having captured Satan in his backyard lawn shed. That one unnerved me.

Of course, I was seven years old at the time.

You may curse them and call them names for their opinions, but you won't dispute their right to post them.

So I assume you're smarter than to post about the stupidity of someone posting about the unworthiness of a topic, since if you did you would be literally carrying on the very thing you'd be bitching about. Especially since what you're literally doing when you do that is complaining that the post (the subject in question) isn't worthy of discussion.

I was married for 27 years to a covert narcissist. It taught me that not everything you see is real and some things that are real, you don't see. There is so much that we don't even begin to understand today. The Bible talks about different levels of Heaven. It talks about spirits, demons, gods of old, giants, and Nephilim. What were these things? Were they beings from another dimension and the levels of Heaven are names for those dimensions or parallel universes? If there are demons and Nephilim, we sure are in a position to be taken in by gaslighting. That does not mean that we won't benefit from some new technology, but maybe the technology won't be real - not physics based, but based on what has been called magic with a made up physics explanation backed up by useful idiots and peer review . I have lost faith in our "experts" ability to distinguish between facts and BS - take CO2 caused global warming as an example.

So, maybe there are beings from another solar system that have found a way to travel faster than light that bring good tidings to Earth, or maybe there are beings popping in from a parallel universe to gaslight us into mayhem. Neither of these things cause me to question my "religious teachings", but both possibilities require me to question motives and continually ask if things make sense.
