1. They have rightfully detained her.
2. Her sentence is excessive by Russian standards.
3. It's clear she is a political pawn.
4. She is a really shitty human being.
5. The US government should still offer assistance to shitty Americans.

Bill Richardson was on TV this morning talking about his efforts to get her released. Not only did he say she was “wrongfully detained,” he went further and also called her “a hostage.”

Per the norm, DEMOCRATS—especially progressives—won’t pass a cannabis legalization bill without frontloading it with a boatload of irrelevant criminal justice reform language.
IOW, Dems continue to stymie 420 legislation in lieu of using it as a means of passing other dodgy issues.
Bottom line: Straight-up put the issue to a vote; it’ll be decriminalized.

BLM should send a contengent to Russia and demand her/him/it's release.
It's not like He/her/it walked thru the Whie House to protest something.
America needs his/her/it's voice of reason, to offset all the nationalist supremacist in this country.
Biden and the Dems will try to make it happen. They should as there is no better repesitintive of their ideology than Brittny Griner!

If I were Putin, and heard these lies from Biden such as “wrongfully detained” and “hostage” I’d end negotiations. Putin doesn’t desperately need the prisoner exchange, Biden does. I’d be sure to make him look like a simp before agreeing to anything.
