I seem to remember the US embassy in Kuwait was held hostage for weeks or a month or so by Saddam

NO honestly I’m confusing it with everything that happened in Kuwait in 1989/90/that general time and got it all mixed up.
He was born in Saudi Arabia and had dual citizenship. The oil company that he worked for had him here working — when shtf he knew to pack his shite and get to the embassy.
Some of the things I remember from his writings were that they occasionally were able to get calls out to home — and they somehow were able to grow a garden. The photos were nothing like him — super then, hadn’t shabed the whole time they were there. Hope my mom can find what he wrote as I’d love to read it again.
So I screwed up years — badly — I was wrong but it’s a true story. Mom had a yellow ribbon around the tree in the front yard and was so happy when she could cut it down.
At least I own up to my dumbass mistakes.

I think he has also preached that Trump will be reinstated. I think they have pushed the date back to October 32nd
