We hired a south African who used to live there. Said he was tired of the politics happening around him.

The problem of course is the same as Texas, the liberal progressives who are fleeing N.Y. and California will vote for the same socialist policies from which they fled.

I just moved to Colorado and so far have met people on my street from Arizona, California, Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky...but yet to meet someone from Colorado. Guess that's why housing is so expensive here, lots of outsiders pouring in.

I agree with this thread, but the price of a uhaul is always 3x leaving Manhattan. Been there, never doing that again.
I loved living in Manhattan. But unless you have a lot of resources, it gets increasing difficult to raise a family there. Oh yeah, Covid and deblasio don’t help.

Hizzoner is banking on a national overthrow of the Govt and conversion to communism. All of those properties then are claimed by the state for the people. Some will be used as concentration camps and gasification centers for those that voted for Trump.

That's what I don't understand. They bring their voting habits with them. Don't they know that the way they voted caused the problems that they are trying to get away from?
