if obama is responsible for the economy turning around and trump's policies are the antithesis of obama's, shouldn't the economy be tanking instead of growing? trump is enacting literally the opposite of what obama did yet, the economy continues to grow. trump's policies should be undoing the progress made by obama's policies.

In a completely free market you would have a point, but when there are 100 thousand pages of regulations, the government needs to deregulate.

I would suggest that all of the regulations that came out of the nobama administration was a frick up.

What are Trump’s economic policies? What has he turned around?

Regulations that destroyed the coal industry.

Regulations that destroyed the steel industry.

Regulations that vastly slowed the oil industry.

Regulations that stopped drilling for oil in many parts of the ocean.

Devalued the dollar.

Obamacare's attempt to financially cripple the middle class.

Heavy Regulations on small business and the energy sector.

Those are all ways to create a robust economy according to the left.

I think the one that prevented him from a third term was especially good for the economy.

I don't think he can take credit for that either.
