re: Where do you get your world news online? Is there an apolitical news aggregator out there?

There is a vast array of independent news on the world wide web these days well beyond the realm of the MSM screen licking set of dying legacy sources.

Real Clear Politics is pretty good

I think the Economist can be found online…
Or THe Wall Street Journal.
If you want something that doesn’t ever report bad news for Trump, you won’t find it…

Try the THM News app. It is right-leaning but not misleading.

Ground news is an aggregator that points out which stories are underreported by certain outlets

The problem with independent news sources is they often get it in their heads to try and get more clicks by only covering controversial “rage” inducing stories. They try to do what the big players have been doing. Therefore, what starts off as a reliable source devolves into stupidity, making it difficult for me to recommend.
On YouTube
“What’s going on with shipping” is pretty reliable.
Victor David Hanson is very good.
Angela Rose for a solid perspective on current event analysis.
“Lefties losing it” on sky news Australia has been a long time favorite.
I like Doug Casey even if he goes after Trump (he does feel Trump is culturally the best choice, by far) because he has some solid takes on economic happenings and he seems to just not give a damn if you like him.
I wish I could figure out Twitter/ X because lots of folks seem to think it’s great but I just find it has too many distractions.
I like how Gemini provides links to sources that they pull from to give their answers. Can find some good sources mixed in there.
