Southwest Airlines Confronts Cal Women’s Coach Over Infant Son

Here's the stupid part
quote:

California Women’s head basketball Lindsay Gottlieb was confronted at the Denver airport by a Southwest Airlines employee who questioned her relationship to her infant bi-racial son before she could board a flight.

And it's followed (not a surprise) by the SJW part
quote:

I’m appalled that after approx 50 times flying with my 1-year-old son ticket counter personnel told me that I had to “prove” that he was my son despite having his passport,” she tweeted in one post. “She said we have a different last name. My guess is because he has a different skin color.”

Wonder why her and the baby don't have the same last name.

Since this has been a problem before, you'd think she'd get that rectified.

SW Airlines is very loyal to their employees. Even though they are "investigating the incident", I guarantee they stand by their employee on this one. After all, the reason the question is asked is to protect the child, not worrying about who it might offend.

Well yeah, if you're traveling with a kid that doesn't look like you and doesn't even share your name, perhaps a question or two should be asked.

There was a story a couple months ago about a couple of teenage girls that were saved from possible trafficking because a gate attendant asked them some questions about traveling by themselves.

I bet these same people also rabidly support the fight against human trafficking

I’m sure I would be subject to the same treatment if I flew with one of my stepdaughters.

She’s Hispanic and doesn’t look like the rest of us in addition to having a different last name.

That’s not “racism” though, that’s common fricking sense to ask.

That pretty much confirms that white privilege is a myth. If she had such privilege, they never would have hassled her.
