So mmcgrath, why don’t they comply with the subpoena if there is nothing there?

The new demands come days after Trump spoke to thousands of supporters in downtown Phoenix, using the Senate’s review to make a number of debunked claims to bolster his false narrative that President Joe Biden’s victory was illegitimate.
This is an example of why people don't trust the "news" media.
Regardless what results come out of this audit, the AP writer has no basis to conclude this statement as a fact. It's his opinion.

Same reason Trump fought his to the Supreme Court. The principle of it.

I am done
I've given up on America....
it's over
until blood begins to spill....then we will see how bad it gets
a long way from that happening
but make no mistake, this country is deep trouble
Trump gave me hope we might could stop this train...
but they took him out...
it's over
there is no resistance anymore

That’s a good analogy.
Private tax returns versus election information. Good job, counselor.

It’s faulty logic to begin with but offers you a neat, concise mirror by which to see it

So you agree Trump shouldn’t release his tax returns even with the court decision. Interesting.
I’m the opposite.

Here’s some common sense knowledge for the fools who believe there was no mass voter fraud.
The United States should never conduct elections with tabulation machines that are designed with proprietary technology/software…..we’re counting fricking votes not solving complex mathematical equations.

Right - a government contractor refusing to provide a government agency the information the government paid for, is exactly the same thing as a person refusing to provide private financial information that he’s statutorily and constitutionally entitled to keep private.

Well you're right about the Trump part at least. Of course Executive Privilege is a much more pronounced privilege I'd say. The Left sadly never would acknowledge that Trump's fight in the name of principle (i.e. precedence) was to benefit future Presidents as well, regardless of party affiliation.

Your post history suggests we are politically aligned. And of course I’ll know it as I would be joining the theoretical fight.

So mmcgrath, why don’t they comply with the subpoena if there is nothing there?
If the Senators want to force this into a courtroom, they will have to explain why they need these things, the expected timeline, and procedures for "audit" part 2. Additionally they will have to justify the loss of chain of custody of election machines and election data. The judge may even force them to reveal what they have found so far (counts, etc).

Glad we agree not all subpoenas are created equal, the requester oftentimes asks for sensitive information the requestee may not want to turn over, and due process mandates a traversal mechanism for the requestee
