Not before the polls close.

They don’t start counting early voting until polls close. But, they are uploaded and posted through COC fairly quickly. We should know by 9:00 pm the results of early voting, at least here in LA.

Exit polls? We talking about exit polls? I wouldn't trust those any farther then I could throw the pollster who asked me how I voted.

I had a similar question.

On election day in 2016, I remember keeping an eye all day on Pinellas County in Florida. but I can't remember when those results started to be tallied.

Seems like it was fairly early in the day though...

Worry about turn out not exit polls. I’m really curious to know if the massive early voting will decrease conservative election day voting.

Whenever the polls close in your state, not any earlier. In Louisiana they may be tallied earlier but not released until the stroke of 8 p.m.

No votes are officially counted till the polls close.

The early vote #'s you've been seeing only tell you the demographics of who is voting, but not the actual votes cast.

Just to clarify I'm talking about the results of the people that early voted. Not the exit polls.

I did not know this applied to early voting
Interesting
I just assumed that some of the “prediction” polls from yesterday were based on the early votes

Now that i know they aren’t, rather than a wave, I think we will have a red tsunami that will FLATTEN the dems.

All this Gillum talk was making me a little easy because i thought it was based partly on early voting

The predictions are based on the early voter party affiliation. While it’s not completely accurate sometimes it can give a decent forecast of how people are voting.

There are a lot of threads on Twitter with hundreds of people saying they are still registered as dems but have voted red because of Kav

I know 100s on Twitter is just that, 100s on Twitter

But i think it’s a sample of what is really happening en masse nationally

Very true which is why it’s not completely accurate. Additionally you can’t gauge how independents voted.
