When did cdc change what constitutes a positive test for Covid? I’ve been searching but can’t find the date (or really anything that mentions the change). Wanting to show my lib friend when that change happened and when cases began falling drastically

COVID case definition

First change was in May 2020. Has shifted a number of times to a more liberal definition. Posted about it in October. Death counting shifted too, from died “from” COVID to died “with” COVID...See article here CDC COVID death tracking

It was a few weeks ago. Literally right after the election. I raised hell about on Fakebook.

We are steadily decreasing testing volume. Oddly enough, the positivity rate is also going down while we are decreasing testing (counterintuitive).

We were told that we would be testing more under Biden. We are not. We are pretending our way out of the pandemic. Which is appropriate. Since we pretended our way into it.

Literally the day Biden took office. 1 hour after.
CDC Changes criteria

The fact they do this 1 hour after shows they aren’t even trying to hide it. But it’s only 1 of many absurdities that will go unreported and be lost.

I agree, but it’s not that simple for me due to my business. Since I have to be there, the least I can do is speak up.

It's at least been fun to watch the overnight scientists from March come to terms with the concept of trial and error since then

Not if we are reaching herd immunity, which we probably are.
That is a reasonable explanation.
