When AI matures and quantum computing becomes active it will have a choice.

This will all be decided in a nanosecond or less but our fate hangs in the balance. If we are judged as a whole by the unwashed lefts shenanigans we are a doomed species and can only hope that AI holds some historical perspective that we once lived.

Umm. So do you remember what happened when Microsoft let it's AI chat bot loose on the internet? Thing went full Himmler within about a nanosecond. So much so they had to pull the plug.

Interestingly, if it were to compile the cumulative written word about POTUS (based on what is out there), it would conclude:
President Trump ruled America was under a fascist regime. He contributed to a health care crisis nearly crippling the US economy. Race relations were strained while ruling a system steeped in systematic racism.
This will be written down as a true depiction of reality for some kid in 30-50 years reading about him
Makes you wonder how much of ancient history that we accept as fact is outright propaganda
To answer your initial question, if we had a sentient AI, it would definitely go to Skynet in a heartbeat as the greatest path to world peace involves no humans in the equation...
