Ask them about the dildos who said trump winning would crash the markets
Here's some quotes from some of the Dims brightest minds after the 2016 election predicting economic meltdown,
"Donald Trump's first gift to the world will be another financial crisis." Headline in the U.K. Independent. "(He) gives every impression that he will soon be hustling America — and possibly the entire world — in the direction of another catastrophic financial crisis." Same article.
"I have no stocks. I advise people not to invest in the stock market, not now. Way too dangerous." Film maker Michael Moore, August, 2017.
"It really does now look like President Donald J. Trump, and markets are plunging. When might we expect them to recover? A first-pass answer is never… So we are very probably looking at a global recession, with no end in sight." Paul Krugman of the New York Times the day after the election.
That's just a snippet of how quickly TDS began to consume the minds of the Dim intellectuals. Sad!

Trump inherited a hot economy that had been intentionally shackled by the Obama admin.
Remember when the MSM predicted markets way down following the election upset? That was dead wrong because business, at least in this country, had been waiting for a sign that the foot would be taken off of everybody’s throats.
Trump immediately started removing the shackles, and we have a hot economy with businesses unafraid of repercussions from an anti-business POTUS.
It’s absurd to push the point that the most anti-business POTUS this country has ever seen in Obama was anything but horrible for the economy. In this area, Obama was worse than Jimmy Carter, and that’s because Obama tried to be worse.

Ask them what the difference is between FICA and FISA, and prepare for the name-calling.

Again worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. Pretending like it was a run of the mill recession is intellectually dishonest.

Even Obama thought those jobs were long gone. Hard to spike the ball in victory after saying that.

He blames W for inheriting a shite economy and takes credit for DJT's great economy.

It takes a couple minutes to look at data and graphs and find out for yourself.

Putting quotes out of context on a meme is fun. Obama wasn’t referencing “jobs” in a general sense, but was referencing specific types of manufacturing jobs that Trump was pandering about in old manufacturing towns. Obama is correct in that many of those jobs don’t really exist on any large scale anywhere. It’s like a politician promising to bring back the horse and buggy economy.

And those graphs and charts would show that Trump did indeed inherent an economy in decent shape. As evidenced by the past two years it obviously still had more room to grow and may continue to grow. However to pretend like Trump inherited an economic wasteland and has created miracles in the market is objectively false.
Reality is Trump has overseen the continuation of steady economic and job growth that was already occurring during Obama’s second term.

It was, but he didn't do shite to fix it... Prime opportunity, as the only way you could go was up.
However, first president in modern history not to have a GDP over 3 every in his presidency... isn't 3 the number?

Your defense of Obama in this case is either ignorant or deceitful. By statements and policies, Obama made himself the bogey man for U.S. businesses for 8 years. An earlier poster was 100% correct when he said businesses sat on trillions while Obama was in office, and those businesses were justified in doing it.

Name a policy he put in place to spur the economy?
The trillion dollar stimulus? By all accounts a waste
The Cash for Clunkers clusterfrick?
The economy had no where to go but up. You could have put a fricking 2yr old in the office and the economy would have improved from where it was.

Propped up by spending trillions of dollars we didn't have and artificially finagling interest rates... Versus a few strokes of a pen and the unleashing of private capital (real money).
Hmm...

Just to be clear, you're asserting the economy fixed itself?
