The psychology is that Minnesota’s leaders have a vested interest in making sure that ICE leaves their state and does not fully uncover the multibillion dollar immigration fraud racket that’s been allowed to take place there. Hence, they will incite their feral leftist base to violence and chaos so they can blame ICE and pressure them to leave.

The Somalis are neck deep in the fraud. In fact, that’s being generous - the fraud is ALL ABOUT them. Walz/Frey are trying to keep things stirred up to stall/distract from revelations that they were involved and personally benefitted from said fraud.
Essentially, they’re trying to remain free for as long as they can. And once they are incarcerated, they can scream vendetta.
