If you think vaccinations cause autism, you're an idiot. I do not believe the government should force them; however, I do believe a non-vaccinated kid has no right to the public education system.

We chose to space ours out more than normal schedule. Still got all the doses though. Figured it couldn’t hurt, and generally have a slight distrust for big medicine. I don’t think they cause autism, but I also don’t necessarily believe the medical board and their studies.

After all, doctors have an absolutely abysmal record in just the last generation. They used to endorse cigarettes for god sakes.

I saw a child, a beautiful baby child, and they took it in and had it vaccinated, and the next day it was very autistic, very sad and autistic

I really wish the downvoters in this thread would identify themselves and let us know what schools their kids attend.

Get your child vaccinated. Or don’t sent you kid out in public, to day care, or school and infect my child.

Seen too many stories of an infant contracting a vaccinatable desires because of a hippy parent not getting their child vaccinated.

As a father of. 15 month old. That both scares me and pisses me off.

In an unrelated note, autism at an all time high, probably due to global warming

Adding it as a qualification for special education benefits and changing DSM over time have led to this...

People who don't get vaccinated are nuts, but people who think that the government should force people to get vaccinated are nuts too.

The same way the wife of a philanderer would feel 10yrs after his last escapade if he were newly accused.

I had polio. Note data at bottom that says 74 people in syria got it from the vacination.

quote:

Poliomyelitis is an acute infection caused by a poliovirus (an enterovirus). Manifestations include a nonspecific minor illness (abortive poliomyelitis), sometimes aseptic meningitis without paralysis (nonparalytic poliomyelitis), and, less often, flaccid weakness of various muscle groups (paralytic poliomyelitis). Diagnosis is clinical, although laboratory diagnosis is possible. Treatment is supportive.

(See also Overview of Enterovirus Infections.)

Polioviruses have 3 serotypes. Type 1 is the most paralytogenic and used to be the most common cause of epidemics. Humans are the only natural host. Infection is highly transmittable via direct contact. Asymptomatic and minor infections (abortive poliomyelitis) are more common than nonparalytic or paralytic infections by = 60:1 and are the main source of spread.

Extensive vaccination has almost eradicated the disease worldwide. However, cases still occur in regions with incomplete immunization, such as sub-Saharan Africa and southern Asia. In 2017, there were 22 cases of wild-type poliovirus type 1 (Afghanistan, 14 cases; Pakistan, 8 cases) and 91 cases of circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus (Democratic Republic of the Congo, 17 cases; Syria, 74 cases). (See also the Polio Eradication Initiative.)
