What’s the point of working in law enforcement in a blue city?

You’re basically just cannon fodder for Democrat leadership to sacrifice you in any politically convenient circumstance.
You don’t do your job, the liberal pussies will cry that the crime is out of control. Why don’t you serve and protect us?
Do your job and you’re placed under a high powered microscope by self-serving politicians and mentally ill leftists who have already determined your guilt before any facts come out.
I would choose the first option. Why bother grinding your arse off trying to keep people safe who hate you and want your department defunded and neutered? Tell them to get fricked and send a social worker

I guess because there are still decent members of law enforcement in blue cities who still want to serve and protect, despite the local government and some citizens who hate them. They know there still exists innocent good people who need the police. Heroes don't just wear camo in foreign countries. Some of them suit up everyday right here.

My brother went to the fire department. When extremely liberal judges undermine everything you do and then your buddy from the academy commits suicide because he became a political sacrificial lamb, you can say that. Good people are leaving...in droves.

I’m a State Probation and Parole Officer. We can’t keep staff to save our life. Our attrition is higher than I’ve ever seen. It has become a very unpleasant work environment over the past few years. The folks were intended to serve are the ones who pay the highest price. These are generally the same people who call us racists and don’t hesitate to join a protest if you get my drift.
It’s a vicious cycle where nobody benefits.
Keep in mind, I do it in a great state who has the best Governor in America. We’re the fortunate ones in all this.
Yes, our training is an absolute joke. Training is what the underlying problem in law enforcement is. It’s mostly bullshite online classes now. Absolutely no tactical training.
