Getting back to the question the OP asked, the early voting lines have been huge. Throw in the fact that no sitting Governor that did not win the primary has ever won election in LA, Edwards winning last time around as an unknown, while receiving the smallest number of votes since the 70s, and the desperate campaign Edwards is running, it is going to be Gov. Rispone in a few weeks.

I stood in a long line today and voted.
From the demographics of the people in line--perhaps 100---I would say JBE is not getting his people out in the same way the demographic that votes for Rispone is getting out to vote.

You just never know. I saw somewhere else that early voting black turnout is way up.

Where do you live (metro area) and is it typically diverse enough for you to make this projection?
Not being hard on you - genuinely curious. You can tell a lot from election lines.
In Milwaukee 2012 it was long lines of black people voting for Obama.
In Milwaukee 2016 I early voted, but walked Winston by City Hall and the Govt bldgs on election day and there were no lines of black people waiting to vote Hillary. I still didn't think Trump would actually WIN Wisconsin, but I took it as great signs for Ohio and North Carolina and Michigan.

Interesting. I didn’t know that.

Same here, and the folks were overwhelmingly white. However, there was one lady ahead of me wearing a Payton Murphy t-shirt, so we know there's one vote for JBE.
