Watson is spending way less money than any of the other top candidates. He hadn’t taken donations from any of the various people that do business with the parish.

Why Watson didn’t fund raise makes no sense, but he hadn’t hardly done anything, It is as if he didn’t even try.

Watson's campaign has been his activity on the council over the last few years. People either already know what he's about or they're not paying attention.

I’ll say this for the race - the only two candidates to come to Zachary were Broome and Watson. I know this is a weird election cycle with the virus crap. But I haven’t seen Piazza or Carter out here. Also I realize Zachary isn’t going to carry anyone to victory but if you can’t be bothered to come out to one of the 3 cities in the parish and that one is where I live it’s gonna be tough for me to vote for you.

Neighbor reached out to Watson’s campaign and he hand delivered several signs and a few t-shirts a few weeks back.

He briefly chatted with several of us outside working in our yards and explained some of his visions for the entire parish. This was in Central.

I think his lack of campaign funding is nothing.

The election is all about the run off. Broome isn’t going to benefit from her previous perfect storm of circumstances that favored her support last time.

And everyone needs to consolidate behind whoever gets in the runoff with her. I don’t really care for the way Piazza carries himself and it looks like he started shaving last week but I’ll vote for him all day over Broome.

If we are really lucky, Watson gets in the runoff and we win.

But because BR is stocked full of morons, four more years of Broome.

Looks like some third party has started hitting Watson for his "campaign" spending. Saw this on FB from a Piazza supporter

So a Piazza supporter posted a mailer about Watson being a RINO. Are they aware that supporting Piazza is supporting a candidate that voted for SWB, JBE, and Obama? Pot meet kettle.

A unified front. I agree.

The way I have explained it to others is you have to vote twice in EBR to get your candidate elected. Once in the primary and again in the run off, as opposed to twice in the primary like those cheating Democrats like.

I intend to reach out to 3-5 close friends on the date of the runoff to remind and encourage them to return to the polls. If we all do that, we will see more than a 16% turn out in Central than the runoff of 2017 and she will be replaced.

Broome won't break 51% and then she'll get destroyed in the runoff

She had 41% in the last polling data I saw. Not good for an incumbent.

Idk who's gonna unseat Broome but it has to happen! Just look at this....our tax money paying for a Broome sign to block her competition. Her name huge. Work coming soon my arse. This is blatant misuse of taxpayer money. Vote Anyone but Broome.
