A renaissance Mitch's administration seems hell bent on derailing.

NOLA would be awesome to live in as a young professional. Wouldn't want to start a family there unless I was making OT baller money. Housing prices are ridiculous right now.

Yea the prices are bad. So many developers paying cash. Good for my equity but it means it will be years before i can upgrade to my dream home.

Yea, I'm a young professional that has been living here for 4+ years. Wife is about to graduate, and we're not sure that we want to settle down and start a family here. It's not just the prices of homes and education, we could live with the expense, but it's the fact that it's expensive and you have the crime issue on top of it.

Looks like Livingston Parish and much of EBR and AP after the August flood.

The quarter? so i guess Uptown, Garden District, CBD, Lakeview, Carrollton Neighborhood... All gutters? You need to leave Jefferson more often guy.

You have a reading comprehension problem.

Do you dispute that taxes realized in the Quarter provide the lion's share of city revenue?

Actually I think you might have a comprehension problem. Here is what I was responding to:
quote:

The Quarter almost literally supports the city & the rest is why sanctuary cities were created.

He stated everything outside of the French Quarter is "why sanctuary cities were created". I replied by listing several other parts of town that are as gorgeous as any neighborhood in the state and region. Some can stand up to any neighborhood in the country in terms of history and aesthetic beauty.
