The crazy reality is that California, Illinois and New Jersey went Republican in every election from 1968 to 1988.

Those three states are forever lost to Republicans, as are all of the New England states, Washington, Oregon, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado and Virginia. Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina and Florida may also go blue in 2020, and Texas is certainly trending in that di-rection as well.

There are still 6 million conservatives in that state. The problem for Republicans in California is that their numbers have not increased, while the number of Likely Democrat Voters in the state have nearly tripled in the last 30 years.

This is a whole new level of stupidity, even for you, Tarzana.

Trump would have to get a majority of Hispanic votes and 20-30% of the black vote for a map like that.

There is a solid 25-30% of whites that are far left liberal and can’t be swayed. Demographics have made states like California and New York almost impossible for the GOP

When Reagan won against Mondale the country was still 90% white and fairly centrist on both sides with very little identity politics

I'd love to hear your explanation of how Trump wins California, or Maryland, or Massachusetts.

If California falls into the ocean, like the mystics and statistics say it will...

ironically that's also the same chances the Democrats gave Trump in 2016 for winning against Hillary

I don’t think that’s very realistic but I could see this happening:

He won that state in 2016. He’s stronger now, and the democrats are on their way to picking a worse candidate in 2016, which none of us thought was possible.

Pennsylvania

Won that one too, see above.

Minnesota

Very nearly won this one.

Election will be decided in places like Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio, North Carolina, Florida, and Arizona

Won all these. He’s in great shape as of now.
