Stationed in Central America years ago.
Panama, was the best country years ago and a lot of retired US Government employees moved there.

Central America country? If the US was thinking strategically they would take Mexico and keep on rolling until all of South America raised the white flag and was begging for that USA freedom and prosperity. We could stop the impetus for mass illegal immigration and crush the drug cartels too.

Panama... Already the largest amount of U.S. Ex-pats there. Also, control of the Panama Canal would be huge. And complete the proposed 2 nd canal. Panama is also the jumping off point to South America(via Colombia).
