This thing barely made it through. Without it, we’d be looking at tax hikes and zero rollback of federal red tape. So what’s the alternative? No bill at all? Higher taxes and more regulations? Sometimes you’ve got to take the win, even if it’s not perfect.
If we’re going to spend money on something, I’d much rather it go toward a missile defense system like the Golden Dome than propping up solar panels and wind farms with endless subsidies. At least missile defense serves a clear national security purpose, something that actually protects the country. Strategic defense spending makes a lot more sense than throwing billions at energy projects that can’t stand on their own without government backing.

Explaining how the political landscape currently works to those who don't understand it is certainly adding something to the discussion.
