My dissertation on media consumption habits of rural Southerners was boring, I guess.

She's a cute girl, but what the hell? A Ph.D. for this?

I've got good news for her. She's about to get paid. She is exactly who runs corporate twitter accounts, as well as who writes for both clickbait & legacy media rags. Vulgar, indebted whores who think degree = intelligence.

And let me remind you. Degree/Credential in username or bio indicates mental illness, midwit IQ, & status insecurity. Disregard, block, or ridicule on sight. Its just as bad as the pronoun posse to me.

I never use Dr. in my name outside of official academic business.

And then this one.

The dissertation title: Investigating Colonialism & Black Feninism in R&B and pop-culture with a focus on Beyonce and Rihanna

That's not exactly representative of all academia.

This shite is unequivocal proof why most children should learn a useable trade and avoid further Prog/Dim university level indoctrination.

Yes, I am not sure this is a representative sample.

Don't confuse this with STEM as all of academia.

I bet her thesis advisor knows exactly which one she is.

I hope the girl up top is English and not American. In the United States, the period goes inside the quotation marks.

Its outdated in the era of social media and smartphones, but 23% of my respondents in 2000 had never used e-mail!

the unspoken truth here is that many students aren't in college to actually learn or research anything of importance. It's extended high school plus sex and alcohol, with a side helping of indoctrination.

My undergraduate professors would have laughed me out of Starkville if I would have proposed this as a paper in a freshman level class. LSU would have expelled me from the graduate school if I would have proposed it for a dissertation, or a disso, as it is apparently know as.

Writes disso on oversexualization and objectification of women.... celebrates by posing on social media braless in a skin tight dress.

Sounds like an absolutely lovely read compared to mine on novel physical and chemical solvents for CO2 separation applications...

To be clear, these are undergraduate thesis projects—not doctoral dissertations. Crap they may be, but this is a far cry from an indictment of the entire academy.

Haha but my former boss showed me how to use my PhD to get a physician's appointment. It has its places.

Those paper's look really light for qualitative essay on any subject including gender studies. Those dissertations are usually hundreds of pages when printed out.
