CA says federal laws don't matter. It's time to promote this now.

2nd Amendment isn't going anywhere.

East L.A., CA.
Chicago, IL
Baltimore,MD
Etc.,etc,...

Let them try and take guns out of the hands of criminals. I would love to watch.

There isn’t really much room for a sanctuary situation in this context.

Agreed. I've been expecting it here for a year and surprised it hasn't happened. I figured our state gubment must be very confident that no infringement of the 2A will occur any time soon.

I went to a city council meeting in a small Texas town recently, and about 15 minutes into it, a man wearing Harley Davidson gear walks in, with a foot-long sheathed knife and holstered .45 Automatic on his belt.

He sidled right up to the area where the police chief and patrolman were standing, and neither blinked an eye.

He later addressed council, who treated him with tremendous respect.

You see, this town allows open carry at city hall, under recent Texas law changes.

I’m positive it will be a top 5 in obesity, poverty and lack of education.

There is an interesting observation on this.

For years and even today, the left has stated that the 2nd Amendment applied to the States, not the individual. Heller changed that but let's say the left gets what it wants and the official 2A position is that Congress cannot infringe on the state's right in this arena.

That would mean that sanctuary states for 2A purposes are completely constitutional. In other words, states would define any state resident as being in the militia and boom, the feds can't touch them.

God bless Texas

There’s a billboard some douche put up in rural east Texas that says “repeal the NRA” with all gay rainbow colors. I just laugh everytime I see it.

Probably Wyoming then. They also have the highest number of guns per 1000 people. So that 53.8% own a lot of guns.

Kinda hard to get a true number on either stat. Your graphic comes from a survey of only 4,000 people nationwide.

Maybe not, but you better believe there will be much legislation filed soon across the US at every level during an election year. It also offers an interesting counter point to the sanctuary discussion.

Every state between the west coast and eastern seaboard except maybe Illinois.
