What period of years or Decade was it we lost a lot of the US population to Extreme Left?

Look there has always been Democrats but they were still proud of the United States and what it stood for even though they had different beliefs than the Republicans it was still ok.
What we are seeing today is a shame and embarrassing that most of the Left leaners will NEVER suggest how great this country is and how proud they are of this country about ANYTHING at all. Its almost like they are looking for reasons to argue about everything and why its bad and haven't once looked around the world to understand how good we all still have it.
I these days can barely even speak to my own mother because all of her left leaning beliefs filter down and frick up how she thinks about damn near everything in life.
When did the Left go "So Far" Left there is no return for most of them?

Probably within 5 years of a significant percentage of middle and high school teachers indoctrinating students by:
- magnifying and lying about the less-than-perfect parts of American history
- minimizing and ignoring all the excellent progress and history America is responsible for
My guess is around 1996.

Key aspects are when parents quit teaching kids the value of work, respecting others and the removal of religious values from home

60's
Those fricks hit their mid-life career influence in the 80's and the next 30 years it's been downhill.

I'm 39 and I feel like it started getting bad with social media. I remember the 80's, vaguely, and the 90's were great, but I was a teenager. Maybe it's a combination of getting older, paying more attention, graduating college and getting out into the real world, etc.
Doesn't answer your question directly, I know, but I started really noticing a shift when Obama won.

This country went to shite the minute Obama was in office.

Started with your LSU homey James Carville and Bill Clinton. But even way back when I was in college, all the professors were leftists. Each Red State should have gotten that shite under control while they could. Fricke tenure. And that will come back to haunt us for 100 years.

The transition happened from 2008-2016, and social media (Facebook, Reddit, twitter, tmblr, etc) was the main player.

It started sometime during Obama's tenure..."if I had a son"...

Can't pinpoint a date- but it started when the left realized they could use "racism" as the moral cover for all sorts of immoral actions. Folks were mocked when they said at some point they will come after the slave-owning Founding Fathers.....well guess what?

I'm a Trump supporter you idiot

Festering yeast with starter kit mixed by Woodrow Wilson and kin. FDR and LBJ threw a lot of sugar in the mix. And the cultural revolution of the 60s/70s was the oven the socialist-"prog" bread needed to bake. End shitty allegory.
Reagan was charismatic enough to maintain a centrist base, and the Cold War sort of united moderates against Leftism. Sorta continue that with Bush/Clinton/Bush, who were seemingly moderate enough to avoid a big backlash from either side, while continuing to put America Second on a globalist platform, and continued populating the swamp and deepening the state. 9/11 served similar purpose as Cold War--a detente, ersatz uniting event.
Then the Leftist/"prog" (I use quotes to distinguish from the Teddy Roosevelt type) forces finally got the identity politics fraud they'd been seeking, in Obama. And he kept the military-industrial complex intact, continued growing the state and globalist agenda, and fooled a bunch of Randy Marsh types into supporting him out of white guilt and a desire to appear enlightened and virtuous.
And here we are. Trump wrecked that house, and we're all paying for it.
High stakes.

1996-2016 killed this Country inside and out. Shady foreign deals and endless wars did it. Give thanks to the Clintons, Bush’s and Obama. They destroyed it
