I doubt it.

Barr was put in play via recommendations from senate Republicans like Graham and McConnell. Barr is trying to ride a tall thin fence between Trump and the Swamp. Barr's hesitancy to go full bore against the swamp is due to the fact that if Trump loses they will make his life miserable after the election. So he is giving Trump only as much as he needs to keep the pitchforks from coming out without really hurting the swamp.

My money is on a statement like this from Barr:

"As part of the Durham investigation DOJ attorneys ___________ have discovered ____________ and we will be meeting with __________ to further investigate the manner."

In other words there is still no confirmation of a real Durham investigation. Just words that say trust us. No documents or actions coming out of the U.S. Attorneys office in Connecticut.

Agreed. But the bone Barr is throwing out today better have some red meat on it or the wolverine gets mad. Clinesmith and new information & the appointment of another lawyer is a good show for a stall tactic.

You're correct, removing his firewall-Wray is a bridge too far even tho it will be forced after Nov.

They asked for an extension. Sundance called the Friday happening a long time ago and quite specifically 3 weeks ago. The jury is still out. I wouldn't brush off Sundance if I were you.
